it seems far away & yet feels just yesterday--that my babies were
just babies. But they are growing up & today I was told how great my daughter was. I rec'd a phone call from her preschool teacher, who wanted to talk to me about an incident that happened on Monday.
Of course I was thinking 'uh oh' & Mrs. Estala says "it is a good thing"---whew, exhale!!
Mrs. Estala, proceeded to tell me that during class, she was reaching for something and her back cracked/popped (etc, something) & she immediately was in pain. Of course she was trying to stay calm & not cry (for the kid's sake).
Anyways, my daughter asks her if she was ok? Mrs Estala said no, she needed help (from next door classroom)--she said my daughter ran over (no further instruction needed) & got the neighbor classroom teacher.
After that, Mrs Estala said Carolina would not leave her side, continuing to ask her if she was "ok" & "if she needed anything".
I was a proud mommy--and of course, we have raised our kids to help others, especially their grammy & papo. You may know my folks are not in the best of health, so when they are with them on vacation, etc. We have taught them to care for them & how to get help if something was to happen to grammy & papo. I guessed they have paid attention.
So as I looked for a picture to go with today's post,
(because of course I have not charged my camera) I found this one. And I think WOW how she has grown, and she has always been a little mother hen. (her & her brother, 2005)
